Finn Winter Challenge at Pretoria Sailing Club

The weather is always unpredictable in August, but sailing conditions are usually good. This year a minor cold front was passing to the south of Pretoria, resulting in a stiff and gusty northerly berg wind on Saturday, which dissipated overnight and left behind a light and fluky north-westerly on Sunday. Two Durban sailors, Campbell Alexander Jeremy Kriek, are campaigning in the UK at the moment as part of the F15 70th anniversary celebration , and Cowes Week Their first regatta over this last weekend was the Flying Fifteen Southern Area Championship, run by the COWES CORINTHIAN YACHT CLUB, and which included the 70th Anniversary race.
