The Old Gaffers of Campbell Alexander and Jeremy Kriek made a real hash of things on Tuesday after failing to read the Sailing Instructions carefully, and did not go through the start line each round!
“We were first round every buoy today in moderate to fresh breeze with nice chop or wave, but didn’t read the SIs properly, so was DSQ in first race. Things are a bit quirky here, and I just didn’t expect that clause as I expected to find some form of prohibition for going through start line” said Alexander.
These intrepid FF sailors are now 3rd overall – with racing running until Friday.
