Every year Hobie Cat World bring the 10 best Hobie 16 teams together on the popular island of Sylt, Germany.
This is an invitational regatta, with the current national rankings and results of major events all considered.
This year William Edwards was invited and sailed with his wife Lucinda. Although there is little information available on the event or racing, the results do show that they won 4 of the 9 races sailed.
William, with his son Douglas, won the Hobie Tiger worlds just a few weeks ago – so a highly successful European campaign for them.
