This is our 360th issue. yes, that’s 12 issues each year for the past 30 years!

Featured on our cover this month are Roger Hudson and Asenathi Jim who won the 470 class division of Delta Lloyd regatta in Holland. What an awesome sailing team these two are!

In this issue we interviewed Roger about this victory and where their campaign is taking them.

Our cruise this month is entitled “The Captain’s Wife’s Guide to Charter Life”.

We also have a great tribute to Hobie Alter which was written by Bob Fisher.

The Holiday 23 Masters, 6 days of exhilarating fun, is covered in full.

For the racing guys, the Speed & Smarts tips talk about starting. Go check it out!

The Laser 4.7 youth African Champs saw our local team finish on the podium. And talking about youth, two sailors have qualified the country for the Youth Olympics.

Although a long way away, the 505 Worlds in Port Elizabeth in April 2015, the 505 class is building support and giving readers a lot of useful info about the boat, how to rig them and sail them fast, and in this issue a quick rundown on the 505 Gate Start procedure.

In the Comments section, SAS President Rob M’Crystal gives his views on youth sailing in a plea to parents of youth sailors in South Africa.
