Mark Hawksworth, our man on the spot, reports.
Race Officer Bruce Keytel made the best of the day successfully fitting in 4 races to make up for Mondays racing that was blown out.
Racing was initially postponed while the RO waited for the SE wind to settle in. Races 1 -3 were windward leeward courses and race 4 an outer trapezoidal course. The wind steadily strengthened as the day went on from about 4-5 knots in race 1 which was sailed in approximately 12-15 knots for race 4.
So far racing has been very close and we have the makings of a really exciting regatta.
