A third race and a 3rd winner – this time the laurels going to the UCT team of Southern Charter UCT Maverick.
It was a close race at the finish with the RNYC hot on their transom and the defending Club, RCYC, in third.
Racing is scheduled to take place today and Friday – however, Friday’s weather forecast might cause the last race to be cancelled. This is just a hint of what may be on the horizon from the organisers sailing experts. If the long-range forecast is true to form, today may be the last race – so there is EVERYTHING to play for today – a make-or-break situation for some.
