They have done it!
Well done Asenathi Jim and Roger Hudson for qualifying for Rio 2016. They were in a really top quality fleet with some of the worlds best dinghy sailors – yet they pulled this off in 5th spot out of the 6.
What is interesting is that they were probably sailing the oldest boat in the fleet by a long way, and now that they have qualified for Rio, will be getting a new boat. It is common knowledge that the older these 470s get, the slower they become, so to have overcome these odds is massive.
Keep the flag flying high guys – we are all proud of you.
