I am able to share the 1967 Lipton Cup contest report today, as written by Basil Lindhorst, with an introduction from the Class President Hoogie van Hoogstraten.
Yvette, contesting for the Royal Cape Yacht Club won, with Ronnie Chedburn as the skipper. His crew were Trevor Hann , Harry Green, John Treasure and Bill Sykes.
It’s a detailed report with lots of good photos, and of course the ubiquitous page of “people pics” from the contest depicting many of the key players of that era.
