Youth Nationals Begin Today

by Richard Crockett

Yesterday there was little action on the Vaal Dam where our up-and-coming young sailors had to get their ‘paperwork’ of measurements and registration completed.

It was a very hot and still day, but as the sun began setting the ‘mixing of the waters’ ceremony signifying the opening of the regatta took place.

Racing begins in earnest today – so standby for pics and results as and when they are received.

Here’s a hotch potch of pics taken by our intrepid contributor Andrew Tough.
