Today will be the last of “Dalling – the man” newspaper features as by now most followers of this Blog have a good idea as to who he was, what he was about, and especially what made him tick.
“He looks the man of the sea. The sailor’s beard, sun-wrinkled eyes, gazing at something beyond, and the expression of one, who has taken a challenge. To his fellowmen, or rather the landlubbers among them, he makes his points with understatement, but on the ocean wave, the elements get it in nautical vernacular” is how today’s feature opens.
There’s still lots more to read and learn about the man.
