“Talking Sailing” From My Archives. Final Dinghy Selection Pics

Taken on 14 September 1974, this is the Imperial Yacht Club (IYC) opening cruise sailpast.

While scanning images is not too time consuming, it’s preparing them, captioning them and adding the references that takes a massive amount of time. Which is why all pics are not posted immediately and in bigger batches.

Most of today’s selection don’t have captions, although I have taken the liberty of adding a caption, question or anything I think may give a clue.

The response to the pics I posted last week struck a chord with many yachties, and have had legs as they are view the world over. Special thanks to those who have responded with info, much of which has already been published, although a few responses will be published during the week.
