These are always two well contested regattas, with the headline of the Sonnet feature appearing almost disparaging as an “outsider” won. How good for the sport that an outsider won and upstaged the regulars.
The ultimate winners were Stephen Loxton and Robert Boers from Hermanus Yacht Club.
The Extra Nationals were held at Worcester, with Terry Bester the winner.
Maybe some sharp follower out these will advise whether there is still a Yacht Club in Worcester?
