Guidelines for SAS Classes
Preamble: All Government funding, National Lottery grants, Funding from SASCOC (our national Olympic committee) and the International Olympic committee relies on South African Sailing having an Olympic pathway and a clear development of sailors in that pathway. Development of all classes is the responsibility of the class associations and SAS is there to assist classes with that development. Smaller classes will benefit from being a supporting class in that they will easily be able to organise class national and provincial events where and how the class sees fit.
