Two South African teams hoping to qualify for the Rio Olympics in 2016 are competing in the ISAF Sailing World Cup Weymouth & Portland, starting today.
The pics depicted here are of Asenathi Jim and Roger Hudson during their final training session in Weymouth yesterday.
Hudson & Jim managed a good win in the final training race in a big tricky breeze which came off the land – with weather forecasters tipping similar conditions for the next few days. It’s going to be tough, very tough, so let’s hope that their result yesterday bodes well for the rest of the regatta? Follow them here on GYBESET.
Also competing are Graeme Willcox and Andrew Tarboton in the 49er skiff.
