Morgan Evans joins the Boating World team as their newest salesman. Morgan started sailing 27 years ago in dinghies and some of his notable achievements include representing South Africa at the GP 14 World Championship, numerous IRC nationals wins onboard yacht AL, a Farr 38, and competing successfully in the local Finn circuit. And it is his Finn sailing dinghy that is the closest to his heart. “I enjoy the one design racing aspect of it and the class has some best sailors in South Africa competing in it,” he says.
His sales career started when he was just 23 years old with the re-launch of Lexus luxury vehicles in the country and after seven years at Lexus, Morgan moved on to be a successful salesman for the Mercedes-Benz brand. His passions for the world of boating, accompanied by his vast sales experience, land him in the perfect position at Boating world.
Morgan believes that by investing in a boat you are investing in a lifestyle that enables you to make most of your leisure time through generating memorable moments. He simply loves the freedom that boating affords and when he is not out selling salt-water to seals, Morgan enjoys watching Rugby and follows formula one racing.
