The Hobie 14 Provincial Champs can only be described as ‘Fantastic’ – 12 races, a dream race officer Neville Norton, winds ranging from 8 to about 15 knots, warm water, sun, TSC hospitality and good company. Neville had to tell us to go home after 6 races each day!
The results below and attached do not tell the whole story. The racing was close, very close with only 3 to 5 minutes separating first to last at the end of almost every race.
Steve Searle and Nic Ryall had a ding dong dice with only 1 point between them at the end. Well done to Jana Muller who won the only two races not won by either Steve or Nic and Danie Heese who came down for some quiet sailing and ended up joining in on the Saturday with a 4th in one race to his credit. Well done Steve our new WC Hobie 14 Champion.
