Frustration in not being able to access good information has been a hallmark of this event. Sad, as we have had some good RSA performances, yet very little feedback.
However Howard Leoto & Shane White put the disappointment of their penultimate race OCS behind them and had a cracker final race finishing 4th – and being the top South Africans in 8th overall, equal on points with 7th overall. What a great performance by this pair who have been sailing together for some time now.
The rest of the RSA team did not disgrace themselves, with Paul Changuion and his 10-year old daughter as crew, being the next best South Africans in 19th
