The annual flagship event of the Gordons Bay Yacht Club is the popular Gaul Regatta, this event will be held on the 5 – 7 September 2014.
The regatta is once again being generously sponsored by Riso Africa.
The event makes provision for the IRC fleet, as well as club division 1 and 2.
Many prizes are up for grabs as well as a lot of fun to be had both on and off the water.
We would like to encourage as many sailors from our sister club in Simonstown as well as all the IRC yachts from Cape Town to take part.
The date of the event is set as a feeder event to the False Bay Yacht Club’s “Spring Regatta”. There will be no charge for mooring on the marinas before or after the event.
The harbour entrance is currently being dredged and will be maintained at a constant depth.
Entry fee is R200.00 per yacht.
