Act 1 of the Cape Town Classic 470 Regatta is complete, with full results below.

This unique event has been the brainchild of Roger and Dave Hudson and is run and sponsored by RaceAhead. Roger Hudson and Asenathi Jim, both Olympians, compete on the international circuit under the RaceAhead banner.

This event consisted of 11 teams racing 10 boats with the last place finisher in each race being subbed out for the following race.

Act 1 took place in moderate conditions and consisted of 10 x 25 minute windward-leeward races forming a 10-race no-discard series.

Further Acts will take place on January 8th and 9th and will comprise a mix of 2 Olympic races (50-minutes, double points), a distance race (90-minute, triple points) and 3 final 20-minute Races.
