UPDATE 19 SEPTEMBER 2014
A skippers briefing will be held on the beach just prior to the Braai.

All boats to muster at House bay, Dassen Island on the 27/12 and we will only spend one night at Saldanha Bay Yacht Club.

The rest is as planned and Old Years Night will be a thrash at POYC which will include the Prize giving and the closing ceremony.

It is the organisers intention to make the POYC West Coast Cruise the best ever and get more than 30 boats.

All boats will muster at Dassen Island on Boxing Day (26/12) and permission will be obtained for a Braai ashore.

27/12   We will sail, race or just cruise to Saldanha bay where we will spend 2 nights with the local Yachties.

29/12   Sail to Sandy Point Harbour where we will raft up next to the jetty or the fishing boats and have their famous Fish and Chips (The best in the West).

30/12  POYC famous Cholestrol breakfast, after which one member of the crew will cycle to the finish in POYC while the rest of the crew will sail the boat home.

The combined time will count for the prize!! POYC will provide moorings and the deep drafted boats will tie up to jetties in the river. The evening will be free to do as you will or braai at the club.

31/12  Port Owen Olympics will be held where crews will compete in constructing rafts, finishing Log Books, tying knots etc. and a Concors d Elegance.

Prize giving and Old years Dinner will end the cruise.
