Great news!
Thanks to Len and Kirsten of Zululand Yacht Club , we have been able to organize the KZN Dart Provincials at Albert Falls dam outside Pietermaritzburg. This will be a great chance to practice for the Nationals and/or the Worlds in December.
It will run in parallel to a Open Cat Regatta over the same weekend.
Being an inland dam, it will have similar conditions to the Vaal dam – in the morning, light winds picking up from 12h00 onwards, or afternoon storms.
A curry supper will be available for free on the Friday night. I am trying to get sponsorship for a free spit braai on the Saturday 1st November. Camping is available at the Albert Falls Yacht Club.
Chalets are available in the Reserve (Ph 033 5691202), or bed and breakfasts in the area (Ph 0828044415 Mark).
