After a really good 3d place overall in the 29er pre-worlds, the RSA pairing of Benji Daniel and Alex Burger continue to sail their hearts out and after the opening day of the worlds are on the podium in 3rd spot after 3 races.
They finished 2; 3 & 10th on the opening day in a 131 boat event.
With fickle winds, OCS were rampant, leading to black flags. By the final race of the day, 20 teams had disqualifications due to premature starts.
131 teams from around the globe are competing in the six-day event in Long Beach, California.
