This years J22 Worlds is on the Vaal Dam as international competitors seldom sail on the sea and apparently are not keen on the conditions this can sometimes present. Consideration of this factor has secured entries from the Cayman Islands and Germany.
So far there is a total of 29 confirmed entries.
The Jury is made up of ISAF accredited judges from Germany, United Kingdom and South Africa with Dave Rushton as the Race Officer.
With Denysville having three established sailing clubs, each club has been allocated specific registration, racing and social responsibilities during the week long regatta.
There is now just 3 weeks until the start of Registration (26 April) and the start of the first race on Monday 28 April.
