Carpe’ Diem, a Dudley Dix designed Hout Bay 40, was professionally built by Brian Allcock and Colin van Oudtshoorn and their team.
She is a really good looking old fashioned traditional steel Gaff Cutter. Launched in November 1992 at the False Bay Yacht Club, Simon’s Town.
Carpe’ Diem has just been fitted with new window “glass” and has been antifouled and painted. She has a Certificate of Fitness and is in very good shape. She has a very light interior with White American Oak trimmings and Oak & Teak floorboards.
She can be viewed in Gordon’s Bay by appointment.
