‘Corsica Cat’ is For Sale at €715,000
This boat is berthed in the V&A Marina, and must be sold. A suitable property swop might be considered.
‘Corsica Cat’ was used in the Mediterranean from new in 2002 and when on delivery to Madagascar the carbon mast was lost overboard in a vicious squall in the Red Sea. The boat was shipped to Reunion Island and then motored to Nose Be in Madagascar. She then did a very limited amount of exclusive charters without her mast. She was laid up for a period and the machinery and electronics were not well maintained. A jury mast was bought from a wrecked 12m catamaran in Nose Be and ‘Corsica Cat’ was successfully delivered to Cape Town with original motors and the jury rigged mast.
She has been undergoing a refit which is now 95% complete, and which is being managed by Bruce Tedder.
