A reader of “Talking Sailing” issue 22 recently queried the existence of the East Rand Yacht Club, and whether as a club it is still active. As a result I have a delightful and news response from a former Commodore, Brian Mathiesen.
Regrettably the club is now defunct, although the info supplied by Brian makes for an interesting and historic read. Enjoy.
