4th Entry for Vasco da Gama Race

Interest in the Vasco da Gama Race from Durban to Port Elizabeth is growing steadily, with interest from all around the country. The race starts on 25 April 2015. Round Britain & Ireland Record Broken

Sidney Gavignet and the crew of Musandam-Oman Sail, a MOD70 trimaran crossed the finish line of the 2014 Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race with an elapsed time of 3 days, 3 hours, 32 minutes, 36 seconds – a record breaking time by a mere 16 seconds. Youth Olympic Games – 2 South Africans competing

Two South African sailors, Calvin Gibbs and Megan Robertson, are competing in this event. South African Rower Smashes Two World Records in Epic Indian Ocean Rowing Crossing

(the south African rower is Cameron Bellamy – son of Keith and Janita Bellamy – both well know Cape yachties) A seven-person rowing crew has today broken two world records for the fastest-ever crossing of the Indian Ocean in a rowing boat.
