I cracked open the email with trepidation, it’s that time of the month again when the mooring bill rears its’ ugly unwelcome head. The cost of the diesely patch of water was creating a storm in my fiscal policy.


So instead of going sailing on a beautiful Saturday morning we headed out to find calmer waters. We visited a few clubs and compared fees, grub, rules and mooring opportunities. I was having a whale of a time creating comparison tables with checks and balances. 


My first mate was pontificating about the prices of beers, length of bar open times, happy hour differentials and food options. As a recently retired business ed
