Late last year we reviewed the book “The Art and Science of Sails” (Revised Edition) written By Tom Whidden and Michael Levitt. The authors and publishers have given us permission to publish this chapter (chapter 6).

For those really wanting to know more about their sails, sail design and how to make them fast, they should read this book which is available from SAILING Books - email: books@sailing.co.za
