Mistral sailors virtually swept the boards at the Round the Island Race on the Vaal Dam this year – a stunning success in their birthplace for the 1971, Fred Raas designed boats.


Now the class is celebrating the strong showing and plan to use it to get more sailors on the water in one of South Africa’s iconic, enduring keelboats.
